September Goals – Exploring

Exploring! I’ve been looking forward to this month’s goal ALL YEAR LONG! I love going new places and seeing new things and trying new places to eat, but it can be SO easy to fall into a pattern and a routine and keep going to all the same places. (Or worse, just sitting home and never doing anything at all!)

September Resolution

I’m really excited to actually get out and be intentional about doing new things this month. I feel like I’m already at a slight disadvantage since I’ve been out of town for the past 2 weekends… but that’s ok- I can make up for it! I’ve already tried a new restaurant, tried a new fitness class, gone to a new park, and tonight I’m going to The Grove at Harwood (I’ve always wanted to go there- I pass it on the bus ride home from work!)

While I want to leave my schedule open and just see what comes up, there are some things that I really want to do/see/eat this month.

-Go to the arboretum (there are like 90,000 pumpkins and I need to see that.)

-Try a new brunch place

-Go to Cake Bar in Trinity Groves

-Walk/see the Continental Avenue Bridge

-Get a snow cone at Bahama Bucks

-Go to the State Fair (yes I’ve already been there, but I didn’t get to see ALL of it last year…)

I think that’s a pretty good list for September, if I do say so myself! I’ll try to check back in at the end of the month to share what I actually did while playing tourist! I dare you to go do/see/try/eat something new (and maybe even touristy!) in your city while the weather is so nice this month!
